We all like to know how much a product is going to cost before we seek further information. In fact, if we stop outside a shop we like the look of and there are no prices in the window, we are unlikely to go inside, because we assume it will be expensive.

But when it comes to language services, every project is different, and rates vary depending on text type, length, deadline and level of specialisation. In order to give you an accurate quote, we need to evaluate the text in question. The more information we have, the better! So if you can give us an idea (even a vague one) of who the target audience is, what the translation’s purpose is, when you need it by and anything else you think we should know, please do so.

If this is the first time you’ve hired translation services, we recommend you take a look at this guide to buying translations courtesy of the American Translators Association, Translation: Getting it right
